You can use ANY lender you wish when purchasing real estate whether that’s through a bank or mortgage company. Each lender has different guidelines and requirements that will determine if they can help finance the home you pick out. Shop around, and find someone who works well with you. I always reccomend using a local lender to the area you want to move to. They will know specific laws for that area regarding financing, and this is also the best way to make for a smooth transaction.
